This Spring, while Morris County high schoolers and their families are celebrating prom and graduation, the county’s second annual Parents Who Host, Lose the Most: Don’t Be a Party To Underage Drinking! awareness campaign is in full swing. On May 9th, the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders issued a proclamation supporting the campaign’s efforts to ensure no Morris County residents provide alcohol to individuals under 21.
The campaign, which was originally created by Drug-Free Action Alliance, an Ohio-based prevention organization, is a public awareness program educating communities and parents about the health and safety risks of serving alcohol at teen parties.
In Morris County, Parents Who Host is being co-sponsored by the Community Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Morris (CCHSM) and Morris County Municipal Alliances.
